Job Description

Salary: $87,100 - 157,450 per year Requirements:

  • I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems Management, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience; additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • I have 8-12 years of prior relevant experience or a Master's degree with 6-10 years of prior relevant experience.
  • I possess the ability to work collaboratively and independently to develop creative solutions.
  • I work well within a small team environment.
  • I have strong communication skills.
  • I am a US Citizen.
Responsibilities:
  • I evaluate, recommend, and implement automated test tools and strategies.
  • I design, implement, and conduct test and evaluation procedures to ensure system requirements are met.
  • I develop, maintain, and upgrade automated test scripts and architectures for application products. I also write, implement, and report status for system test cases for testing, analyze test cases, and provide regular progress reports.
  • I serve as a subject matter specialist providing testing expertise for the support of user requirements of complex to highly complex software/hardware applications.
  • I direct and/or participate in all phases of risk management assessments and software/hardware development, emphasizing analysis of user requirements, test design, and test tool selection.
  • I design, plan, create, execute, and provide SOS test reports.
  • I review government test plans and test reports for technical competence, effectiveness, and compliance with standards.
  • I observe and evaluate the execution of customer acceptance test activities.
  • I perform integration activities involving developed application software.
  • I identify and document problems and issues, providing specific guidance on root-cause and remediation.
  • I analyze the requirements for each test event and assist in the scheduling of the SOS non-operational environments test assets.
  • I support and assist in the execution of government-conducted security certification testing of SOS systems and components.
  • I support the presentation and formal review or audit of test results, providing briefing and decision support material.
  • Using government-supplied software configuration management control tools, I accept developed software code and integrate the code into builds (i.e., incremental releases) to support test, integration, deployment, and cut-in to operations activities.
  • I maintain and provide controls for multiple test software and hardware baselines.
  • I possess and apply comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high-impact assignments.
  • I plan and lead major technology assignments.
  • I evaluate performance results and recommend major changes affecting short-term project growth and success.
  • I function as a technical expert across multiple project assignments.
  • I may supervise others.

The anticipated pay range for this position is $87,100.00 - $157,450.00.
