AVAILABLE POSITION:

Loan Officer Assistant (LOA) - (Paid) | Wichita, KS (In-Person)

COMPENSATION:  
$60,000 to $95,000 total compensation depending on experience (base pay plus per file bonus).

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

  • Providing elite service to internal and external clients.
  • Following up with new leads to ensure they are engaged in the loan process.
  • Learning investor guidelines, lending policies, and the required documentation, policy and procedures of the business.
  • Applying knowledge and judgment to proactively anticipate needs for new leads.
  • Developing strong computer skills, including the extensive use of web-based applications.
  • Managing multiple priorities while building rapport with clients.
  • Coordinating application and finance quote updates with new clients.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:

Must Have Qualifications: 

  • No fear of making phone calls.
  • The desire to serve military members .
  • Associates Degree or higher.
  • Minimum 12 months experience in Mortgage or Client Service Industry.
  • Work experience with using complex logic and problem solving skills.
  • Above average ability to work with numbers and basic finance calculations.
  • Advanced computer experience - ability to multitask on dual monitors.
  • Willingness to learn and be coached.
  • Adaptable to a flexible, fast-changing industry.
  • Self-motivated with strong work ethic.
  • Ability to take accountability for actions.

Nice to Have Qualifications:  

  • Military experience (or knowing someone close who served)
  • Bachelor’s degree with 3.0+ GPA
  • Handling escalated client service situations over the phone
