The DNI Jr. Contracts Specialist is responsible for supporting the preparation and administration of contracts while adhering to regulatory requirements and organizational policies. This position requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a commitment to compliance and customer service. The Jr. Contracts Specialist helps uphold transparency, integrity, and accountability in government procurement processes, ultimately contributing to the achievement of organizational goals and the delivery of services.

The Jr. Contracts Specialist role requires someone who has exceptional attention to detail, excellent time management and organizational skills. Additionally, this person must have the ability to multitask, problem solve, create documentation of processes, work both independently and in a team environment. Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work with people of varying experiences and backgrounds is critical.

Work Environment & Physical Demands:
This job operates in an office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets. This is a largely sedentary role that primarily requires sitting at a desk in front of a computer for long periods of time.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time exempt position; typical work hours and days are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; additional hours are expected at times.
